White Flint Planning Page Updated with Copy of Plan

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

The Montgomery County Planning Board has updated the special White Flint Planning page: www.whiteflintplanning.org. The new page contains a full copy of the version of the White Flint Sector Plan. The Plan on this page does not appear to have all the corrections made in the final days of consideration.

[Update: reliable sources project that the final version will be available on Thursday.]

The Plan is downloadable in two parts:

Town Hall Details

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

I’ve put up a new page on the main Friends of White Flint web page — www.friendsofwhiteflint.org — with the details currently available for the September 23 White Flint Town Hall. Planning Board Chair Royce Hanson will present the White Flint Sector Plan, and former Commissioner John Robinson will moderate a question-and-answer session.

The Town Hall will be held in the auditorium of the NRC on Rockville Pike, on Wednesday, September 23, from 7 - 9PM, doors open at 6:30. The NRC is a secured federal facility and there will be some security procedures in place; they are described on the new web page.

We hope to see you there.
